1. Service Description

HuPenn ("we," "our," or "the Service") is an AI-powered text rewriting service available at www.hupenn.com. The Service transforms AI-generated text into natural, human-like writing and provides AI detection scoring as a reference tool.

2. Acceptance of Terms

By accessing or using HuPenn, you agree to be bound by these Terms of Service. If you do not agree to these terms, you may not use the Service.

3. User Accounts

You may create an account using Google OAuth. You are responsible for maintaining the security of your account and all activity that occurs under it. You must provide accurate information during registration.

4. Acceptable Use

You agree to use HuPenn only for lawful purposes. You may not:

  • Use the Service to produce content that violates any law or regulation
  • Submit content that is defamatory, obscene, or infringes on intellectual property rights
  • Attempt to reverse-engineer, decompile, or disassemble the Service
  • Use automated scripts, bots, or scrapers to access the Service
  • Circumvent usage limits or rate limiting mechanisms
  • Resell or redistribute the Service without written permission

5. Content Ownership

You retain ownership of the text you submit to and receive from HuPenn. We do not claim any intellectual property rights over your input or output content. You are solely responsible for ensuring you have the right to submit content for rewriting.

6. AI Detection Score Disclaimer

The AI detection scores provided by HuPenn are estimates based on our internal heuristic analysis. These scores are for reference purposes only and may not reflect results from third-party AI detection tools. We do not guarantee any specific detection outcome, and scores may vary across different detection platforms.

7. Subscription and Payments

HuPenn offers Free, Starter, and Pro plans. Paid subscriptions are billed monthly through Lemon Squeezy, our payment processor. By subscribing, you authorize recurring charges until you cancel.

  • Prices are listed in USD and may change with 30 days' notice
  • Free trials, where offered, convert to paid subscriptions unless cancelled before the trial ends
  • You may cancel your subscription at any time; access continues until the end of the billing period

8. Refund Policy

Due to the nature of digital services, refunds are generally not provided once a billing cycle has begun. If you experience technical issues that prevent you from using the Service, please contact us and we will evaluate your request on a case-by-case basis.

9. Account Termination

We reserve the right to suspend or terminate your account if you violate these Terms. You may also delete your account at any time by contacting us. Upon termination, your usage data and rewrite history will be deleted.

10. Limitation of Liability

HuPenn is provided "as is" without warranties of any kind. To the maximum extent permitted by law, we shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, or consequential damages arising from your use of the Service, including but not limited to loss of data, revenue, or business opportunities.

11. Changes to Terms

We may update these Terms from time to time. We will notify users of material changes via email or a notice on the Service. Continued use after changes constitutes acceptance of the updated Terms.
